So when i got my car i didn't sign up for XM, but i recieve it..
assuming that the dealer activated it on day 1?
will it just not work 90 days after i picked up the car??

They should send notice thru that it will expire and to renew and to register.
If you don't respond, they'll shut it down.

Not sure how XM handles theirs but the Sirius I had on a Ford went over by 2 months b4 it was stopped.

Beware of XM, Do not give them your credit card. NO matter how many times they ask. If you do want to renew ask for the 1/2 price deal or sometimes the 77 dollars deal. DO not give in and tell them never mind you will just cancel XM. They will send you a bill and one last thing is call in the morning around 9 CST. Good Luck!

just got a letter from XM in the mail... with an expiration date on the trial..

i probably won't get Xm..
i don't listen to ANY radio much..mostly listen to an 8gb flash drive..

Blech XM - Slacker's the way to go

I paid for Slacker Pro subscription and running cached stations from Droid through the Aux - half the price of XM and I can customize and skip.

Oh and that's a second on giving XM credit card - good luck trying to cancel down the road - last time it took multiple calls (was hung up on and waited on interminable hold) to finally get rid of it. Once they got your card number, it's your responsibility to get it cancelled - if you don't call, they just keep charging the card.

I had xm for a while cause they had like 10 channels i liked... Including the only 3 hip hop channels, every sports game I would wanna listen to (if I can't watch it), the spanish station, the reggae station, a pop channel and one of the comedy channels... Point being enough channels for me to be willing to pay for it lol... Sometimes I get bored of my ipod and they play songs that I like but wouldn't think to play at the moment lol... I usually wait for the 5 month 20 bucks deal, cancel it before the 5 months is up (no problems yet), and then a month later they send another offer lol...

We keep XM is both Hondas. It helps on the long commute.

Anyonme else notice that it seems to fade more now than it used to?
