XM Nav Traffic: F A I L

I was a bit miffed to learn today that the CT Navi does not work with the XM Nav Traffic subscription. I called XM and had them enable a 3-month trial with no luck.

It would be really nice to get close to real time data from something other than my iPhone 4 :/

I'm half tempted to raise a stink with Honda.

Yea, that is a weakness of the NAV option, it doesn't have any intergration like that, and it takes far too long to get updates (5 years). Richard
Not to mention those DVD upgrade can be expensive I hear.
Even my dealer told me not to get the NAV- though the backup camera is cool.

I stuck with my Garmin which I got a lifetime upgrade option for $79 or so on sale last year. Upgrades 3-4 times/yr.

Just got my Garmin and like it. Costco didn't offer anything like an upgrade tho.
Tell me more about that and whether it's available at Future Shop or the like.

C.
I love my Garmin. It's a Nuvi 760. However, I wasn't able to find any cheap upgrades. I paid almost $90.00 for a year of upgrades.
I think the updated nav DVD is 150 bucks...Ouch
