I'm about to shop for a set of summer tires for our Honda Crosstour. Any tips on what I should be looking for?

I looked on TireRack.com and the only ones considered a summer tire that I would recommend are the Goodyear Eagle GT's.

The stock tires should be more than adequate though. We don't really have a "winter" here, and the tires have performed outstanding in the rain and on dry pavement. I haven't tested them with the traction control off though lol

Why?...The service manager at my Honda dealer said he used to work in the tire business and he's thrilled that Honda went with the Michelins.

I had Toyo's on the Ridgeline, took them off and put Michelin LTX back on. The Michelins were much smoother and quieter.
I like the "all season" Michelin tires on the CT, they worked well in winter on the snow and ice, great on the rain throughout spring and handle fine on the dry pavement of June.
They could be a bit quieter though, I notice a bit of a "hum" from them.
Other than that, I think they are great.

I have a set of Riken Raptors summer rubber on my '06 Accord and love them.
Made by Mechelin, but priced much more reasonably, these are excellent summer rubber and I'd highly recommend them.
