What phone mount options do you use? I previously drove a 07 accord coupe w/Navi and used a mount that inserts into the CD Changer slot. On my 2010 CT EX-L w/navi that same slot is much lower and the control dial is larger, and the gear is shift closer making this less of a good fit. I get hot easily so, do not usually like the air vents blocked. Plus those Vent mounts always seem to rattle to some degree.

I want to be able to see the screen so I can run Waze to get traffic and hazard updates.

I opted to mount my charger/holder to the dash. By purchasing a new piece of dash trim bezel from eBay for $15 and mounting a Garmin GPS ball mount for a motorcycle handle bar, with a magnetic plate attached to the back of your phone you are able to mount the phone in easy view. I, too, use Waze a lot, especially on my trips to the east coast from Chicago.
It works well for me.

BTW, I installed a 2-plug USB buss into the cove at the front of the console. Not shown is the USB cable that powers the charger/holder. It's a clean install.

I've been using vehicle specific mounts from ProClip USA for both standalone GPS (when those were still a thing) and phones for quite a few years. They have several options available for the 2012 and earlier CTs depending upon vehicle options and location preferences. The 2013-15 CTs only have one mount available that clips below the upper screen. It can block some of the screen, but I've had no problems using it.

Note that they sell the vehicle mount and phone holders separately, so after you select the mount, search for the type of phone that you have and select a holder.

(I'm not allowed to post links as I've been reading, not posting, but if you search Google/Bing/other, you should see them come up. No relationship to them other than as a satisfied owner.)

Quad-lock all day long! My wife has been using one in her CT, and I got one for my Grand Cherokee. You can get them with wireless chargers now too.

I replaced my magnetic wireless charger with one that actually grabs and releases the phone on its own. You just place the phone into the holder and the side arms automatically lock it into place. When you want to remove the phone, you run your fingers around the side, it senses them and it automatically releases the phone. I love it. I installed a USB dual outlet into the back of the console tray which is my source of power for it.

I just got a Samsung Tab-A, and the SCOSCHE magnetic holder that I posted above, supports my new tablet. I'm not at all a fan of the mounts that either attach to, or block, the vents. I hate driving with my windows open, and as a result, I heavily rely on the vents for A/C or heat. I also do not trust the mounts that slide into the CD changer.....to me, that has damage waiting to happen written all over it.

The 12 volt accessory socket is mounted on the driver side divider console. I am unsure if this mount has enough flex to allow the downward slope as opposed to the horizontal shown. Anyone have any input. Thanks, Robert
