What car wax do you use?

I use Black Magic Wet Shine on my CT because CReports recommended and I usually trust them with test such as wax because I can’t test them over time like they do. Comes in a red 16oz bottle and it’s a liquid. Goes on really smooth but can be a little more trouble taking off than others I have used but if it’s been through time test…its good enough for me. Wax has held up good for 4 months now with good beading in rains. I use this to mostly protect from bird poop, sap, and highway bugs. Yes, I know I will hear people say I waxed too soon but facts are that paint is made different now days and dries quickly after painting not counting time on dealer parking lot in sun.

On the interior I use Malco Leather Conditioner Part no. 109932. This stuff is sort of high priced but goes on well and does not leave gummy nor slick. Been using this stuff for over a year and since CT was bought new this year.

Sounds like a decent product. I'll have to remember that name. I haven't conditioned leather in a long time but I will with this ride.

You wait for a while for answers here don't you?:p
I'm used to having 100k members and getting quick responses.
This reminds me of when G35Driver.com was brand new back in '02.
Zaino is the best stuff to use. Easy to apply and remove and gives you a shine well take a look

I have heard good things about Zaino, but Meguiar's is the way to go for me. I even use it on my boat.

Zaino's quick detailer I still use most of the time. Great stuff but then Meguiar's is good too especially their new one. (better waxing).

Actually, Zaino is not a wax. It's also much easer to use once you know less is better

Pardon the generic reference (wax).....I've used Zaino for years and liked it a lot but other products are good too and a little less expensive and more available.:)

Yes, I agree it is a little hard to find and since you are in Canada I am sure it is very hard to find. I also agree that there are Items on the market that are cheaper and almost as good.

Is this zanio similar to xzilon? Xzilon works great but is pricey, I can treat 3 cars with one bottle but have to do it within 1 week or bottle outdates once opened. Supposed to be same clear coat dealers sell for $750 to place (treatment package) on your car when you buy it new. Got my xzlion for $35 bucks.

No, Zaino is a reasonable priced product. I believe a bottle Z2 is about 15 US dollars and you should get about 8 - 10 cars out of a bottle, the trick to Zaino is you do not apply very much. I normally do 3 - 4 coats and it takes me about 2 hours from the time I put on the first coat. I suggest you go to the web site, http://www.zainostore.com/ and look at the FAQ area or even email Sal with your questions. He normally replies to emails with in a 1/2 day or so. You also can check out You Tube for videos on Zaino Products. I only push Zaino cause the stuff really works and can hold up for 6 months no problem.

Also go to, http://www.autogeek.net/ They have some great stuff for a good price.
I use Klasse all-in-one and Klasse Sealant Glaze.
+1 on the Zaino products. Yep, there's others out there, but I do two coats on my DD in September and water is still beading up when winter is over in late March.
Anybody try the EVP Polysteel treatment on theirs? I got my CT in black and they said i'd never have to wax it with the treatment...got it for $100 in my overall price. I've seen the maintenance kits go for anywhere from $20-$40 on Ebay and Craig's List so I went with it...snake oil or worth it?

I must profess my ignorance, what is it? Richard

Ok, I have a quick question if you have to do maintenance on the treatment. What does that mean?

It's a dealer add on (alarms going off) that is supposed to provide super gloss finish and proect the finish against all sorts of stuff...what peaked my interest is the salesman said it's a real benefit by protecting my black paint from oxidation and I would never have to wax it. I believe the 'maintenance' kit consists of quick detail spray and interior cleaners/conditioners. Just found some discussion of this in the Accord forum...
