I'm looking to grab a friends steel wheels he used on an 04 Odyssey with 215/65/16 snows mounted - too small you think?
It would appear that the 215's are too small in diameter. Not sure that they would clear the brake calipers either.

Traction control systems and ABS depend on proper sizing so you have to be careful when replacing tires.

Use the tire size calculator found in the link in this thread for sizing help.

Thanks for the link, is there a rule of thumb how many %s is ok to be different. I compared the sizes and I believe its almost 6% diff in terms of speed.

Its a fact that narrow tires will perform better in the snow but if you bought 4WD why to bother about it? I kept the OEM size for my snow tires and this week we get around 25 cm of snow. It's amazing how good this car is with 4WD. I have no complaint about it. This is my personal view...Enjoy!!!

I believe that up to 3% is acceptable. You might want to confirm that with Honda.

Like Lardo, I'm also no bothering with snows this year.
