Greetings all,

I am the owner of an EX-L AWD w/ Navi that I'd like to put a trailer hitch on for carrying up to 4 bicycles and maybe even a big arse cooler for major tailgate partying. Has anyone installed the factory one themselves or found an aftermarket variant? I checked out the instructions and installation looks quite involved - bumper off, rear seats out, etc. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

I imagine it is quite involved considering it has to mount to the frame, they need to cut out part of the bumper mask and add a face molding to make it look like it wasn't an afterthought, wire it and ensure the spare is still available as designed. This is not a cheap upgrade, I did not have it done since I don't know if we will keep our camp, ATV, boat and landscape trailer etc. so until we do officially decide we aren't going to just spend the money and do it like I did with my '06 RidgeLine.
