Here are two pics from our day trip to NC's Grandfather Mountain on Saturday. The Bean is parked in the "top lot." This is about 5,100 feet above sea level.

Nice Pictures, Love that part of the this country. The Wife and I took a trip this spring and we made it down to Asheville, NC and drove up to the Poconos via the Blue Ridge Parkway and some highways.

Thanks, it came with the car. The dealer here puts it on all of them.

Wow Fred! BREATHTAKING! .... and literally at that altitude....

I've heard that you have to do a little off-roadin' or hill climbin' to get up to that height, or did you take a 'shortcut' to come back down?

Very pretty countryside (or should I say mountainside). We've seen a little of it and enjoyed it tremendously.

The road up is very steep and full of 180 degree turns, but it's paved the whole way.

We opted out of the "shortcut" when we came down. We had time to kill....
