Everything I see on here resembles our 2014. For the life of me I can't figure out why the rust was right here and nowhere else on the body of the vehicle. Has there been any updates with anyone and Honda stepping up? I've had several Honda vehicles and never had a corrosion issue this quickly.
Surface Rust Bubbles
My 2013 Crosstour has 90,000 miles. I am the original owner.
At 85,500 miles I had some surface rust appearing on the driver side rear panel above the wheel well. I had the rust repaired and repainted, looked great. I recently noticed that paint bubbled have reappeared and fear that the metal in this area is starting to oxidize from beneath and suspect some major rusting to appear which will decrease the value of my CT.
Has anyone experienced this or any rust issues?

Who did you Contact at Honda?
2014 Honda accord is also getting rear wheel well rust with bubbles on the driver side. Car is pristine and has been very well cared for. I’ve had Hondas my whole life and even my 2000 Honda CRV that was 17 years old never had rust like that. Just sold a 2007 Honda Odyssey again no rust on the wheel well

I am having the same issue with my 2015. I had it repaired about 2 years ago at about 45K and it is coming back. I am the second owner and purchased it as a Honda Certified Pre-Owned at about 25K. But Honda (West Herr Honda of Buffalo) said that the rust/paint warranty is only good for the first owner. So I had it fixed at a local autobody shop.
If anyone can show where the leak is coming from in the gas tank area maybe I can get it fixed when I get the rust fixed again.
