Anyway to stream music from an htc evo via bluetooth as it doesnt seem to work usb.

Not through BT. Our cars don't come equipped with the streaming audio Bluetooth capability.

All audio has to go through the supplied USB or Mini cables.

(have you tried a mini audio cable from the evo to the car and send your audio that way?)

Unfortunately if it doesn't work via USB I don't know any solution not already discussed.

I stream from my Motorola Droid by using a BlackBerry Gateway. It works great. It automatically connects to my phone when I start the car, so I just have to hit play on my phone.

I bought the BBG on eBay for about $40.

Edit: To clarify, you do not have to have a BlackBerry device for this to work with your phone. It works with almost all smartphones.

You don't have to plug your phone in every time you get in the car. It syncs automatically via bluetooth.

So do you keep it in the center console or in the little compartment by the car charger plug in so it can charge that way?

It would be nice not to have to plug the phone in.
