Shudder/Shaking at 35-40mph and 70-75mph

My mechanic is scratching his head about what is making my 2012 CT v6 4WD shudder/shake at 35-40mph and again at 70-75mph. When on the lift he cannot find any visible signs of something being wrong. But go down a side road at just about 40MPH and you can feel something is not right. As the driver you feel it in the wheel and pedals and seat. As a passenger, you sorta feel it. I think our bodies are just used to feeling stuff like these so the brain compensates. Driving with something which is prone to rattling sitting on the passenger seat (like and empty pet carrier), now doubt something is wrong.

My mechanic wants to wait and see if it gets worse so hopefully he can say ah-ha! when looking at the belly of the beast. He doesn't have to live with it every day. He also doesn't want me paying hundred to thousands of ours on a fishing expedition.

Anyone encounter anything similar.

My CT has 135,000 miles and is up to date on all of its servicings.

It does not change with engine speed.

It sorta feels like it is lugging, but forcing a kick down does not make it go away. Only speeding up or slowing down to get out of its trigger zone makes it go away.
It seems more pronounced when everything is good and warmed up.

Some of you may have been following my legal pursuit of Honda to get them to replace the torque converter on my 2010. The short answer is that I lost. BUT, I did persuade Honda to give me a $1000.00 gift card for my trouble (one whole year!). So, I'm probably giving the gift card to my personal mechanic so he can buy parts and give me a discount to do it. Honda's quote was over $4K !!

I wanted to bring anyone who is interested up to date on the "judder" issue, so am replying to my own post. After all this time, I had the very best mechanic I know drive my 2010 4WD and he immediately said the vibration was NOT the torque converter but the transmission. One reason is that it does not judder at a higher speed. He said some transmissions just get warped internally at some point in time and the only solution is a whole new tranny @ $3-4K. He said it's not worth it and just to live with it so that's what I'm going to do! I did get a $1K "Loyalty Card" from Honda for all my time spent.

I have a 2011 CT E-XL, and ended up with a similar issue, which was caused by my fault for inadvertently driving in D3 at high speed. This was over 80,000 Km's ago.
This damaged my Torque Converter, which now needs to be replaced, and tranny rebuilt. Estimated cost about $4000.
I can still drive it but I feel it while driving in the city or highway.

My 2013 v6 is doing this a bit more noticeably than in the past at both lower and higher speeds. More noticeable with harder acceleration.

I'm starting with replacing the motor mounts...
