New CT owner and set my seat position, but if I move it while driving, I can't return it to the original position without stopping and starting the car again. Every other vehicle I had it was possible to just hit the memory button and get back to the original setting while driving. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

I suspect some 4'9" wife accidently hit the button for her 6'5" husband and then could not reach the brake pedal in time to avoid the collision. The Honda lawyers redesigned the programming so that wouldn't happen again.

Just a guess!!

Hmmm, I think I've actually reset the memory while driving - just hit the memory button and then 1. It took a while for me to get the adjustments just right since I'm short so I was constantly adjusting while driving. (Don't tell on me!)

Edit: Never mind - I was adjusting not trying to go back to the original setting.

As you've found out: it's the memory that's locked out while driving. Good feature as Kemosabe says to prevent unwanted movement too far from pedals.

It sure would be nice if we didn't have to open the door before the seat changes position for different drivers. I know some day I'll be standing in the rain with the door open waiting for the seat to move far enough aft to get in!!!!!!!

Honda - what are you thinking????

Because it is adjusting from "Women's - Small" to "Men's - Extra Large".
Doesn't it start when the cooresponding driver's key calls for unlock? Unlock it from about 50 yards back. It should be done before you get there.
