Well, I just picked up my new Crosstour. Traded in my 4Runner and I feel like I lost a good friend. The ride home was nerve racking wrestling with visibility adjustments, the feeling of being low on the road compared to the 4Runner and being overwhelmed with the computerized bells and whistles. I hope this feeling of regret goes away.

Hi...2nd day here and I know exactly what you mean about driving the first day....just try not to mess with the bells & whistles while driving!....I'm told that they just take a little time to get used to them all....
(I traded in a '05 buick Allure(LaCrosse) which had most of the stuff except for nav. and backup camera...although it had sensors)

Took another spin today after watching the youtube demos of the Nav unit....I'm much happier now and am having lots of fun using both voice commands as well as manually entering destinations etc.....I labled my "home", password protected it, found a couple of restaurants easily....that's the good....
The bad is that where I live, It's not a major city....and I'm in Canada as well so there's none of the restaurant guide-rated places and the map is woefully out of date so a lot of the newer businesses aren't on it....can't even find my Costco!
I'm on Vancouver Island and the dealer told me that if you want to program it to find Vancouver....it sends you all the way down to Victoria to catch the ferry...when there's one right in town here that would be easier to take!

Yeah, it's very important to password protect your home and stuff. Imagine somebody got hold of your keys? All they would have to do is navigate to your empty home and fill up the Crosstour with your valuables! I am glad protection is a feature with the GPS.

...not to mention that they'd have easy access to your home with the garage door opener!
