Earlier today I noticed this rubber (??) molding somehow dislodging itself. It sits under the rear spoiler on the hatch. What can I do to fix this??
Should be a pretty easy fix for a body shop to take off and glue back on. Should be cheaper than a dealerYeah, I do that too, every time I get into my car. I use a credit card to push it up as high as it can reach. Even if I'm making a short trip to the grocery store, which is only a 1/4 mile away from my house, at no more than 30MPH, it pops right back out. I don't think it's going to be very much longer before it blows completely off of my car, especially, if I should be on an expressway, at speeds of 70+MPH. I try my best to keep my car in great condition, and this has my OCD in hyper overdrive. I also don't feel like paying a stealership hundreds of dollars for something that I might be able to fix myself, for little, or, no cost to me.
Here are some photos if you want to replace the anti vibration tapeThat’s funny. Same issue on my 2012. Just keep tucking it back in.
Where / Who did you get the sway bar from?! I've been looking for them for some time now...i used some double stick tape and it's held for the last two years ¯\(ツ)/¯
You can buy them on ebay or any one of the tens of acura parts distributors, I'd recommend Bernardi Parts if you want new, but if you go used get them from LKQ on ebay, got my engine and transmission from them, no complaints, just make sure if you do decide to get the sway bar just get the 2 bigger bushings (52306-TK5-A01) as well.Where / Who did you get the sway bar from?!
