Replacement, molded, interior carpet

It never occured to me that I wouldn't be able to easily purchase molded, high-grade replacement carpeting for my 2015 CT. My guess is that no one has done this but does anyone know if, from an interior floor standpoing, the CT = the Accord? It might, in fact, be the case but I hate to spend $100's and get a carpet that doesn't quite fit. I'm planning on adding a new subwoofer and amp, road cameras front and back and sound deadening under the carpet...so I want to do this project in one fell swoop.

Brand new OEM carpet is available but the total is over $750, it tells me shipping is estimated at another $225

Thanks, Packerman. Of course, you are correct about that. My carpeting is in great shape, I just wanted to upgrade to a higher qualify weave with a sound-deadening backing, vs. jute. I'll probably end up pulling everyting out, adding dynamat to the floor pan then run my wires for the under-seat sub and my cameras. I have a carpet extractor so that will be a good time to give the carpent a nice cleaning. I've seen others even use a power washer for an out of car cleaning along with a good dry in the sun.

If I were a rich dude I'd order up the Accord carpet and take a chance. I note that the first portion of the part number (83302) is the same with the CT or the Accord. I'm not sure what this means but it may mean that they use the same carpeting.

For Honda part numbers its usually the middle part that signifies what car its for (for the crosstour specifically I've seen tp6 and tp7 a lot), the accord specific parts usually have different center sections to their part numbers (Sedan: TA0, TA6 Coupe: TE0)

Basically just by using the part numbers I'd say that the accord carpet wouldn't fit right, if you really want something that's "nicer" I would suggest taking out your carpet and using it as a template for whatever material you're using

Thank you, Packerman, for this insight into the part numbers. That's good information for me to tuck away for the future. I've replaced the carpeting in a few vehicles, and one nice thing about the model-specific is that it's pre-formed. They must use steam to do that. But, like you suggest, removing the existing carpet and using is as a template is also not a bad way to go. I'll probably just pull the carpet, clean it, add my dynamat and upgrade the mats.

Thanks so much!
