Does anybody the proper way to disconnect and connect the rear seat release cable?
I am replacing the passenger side rear cargo liner in my 2014 crosstour (yes, where the speaker is and the ONLY way to replace a broken subwoofer speaker grill).
I've disassembled everything and removed the rear seat bottom to get to that darn bolt that holds the rear shoulder bolster in.
now I need to disconnect that strange cylindrical connector for the seat back release cable. Picture below.
pulling the clip doesn't seem to help much, the lower cable remains securely attached.
Here's what the new one looks like...
this was helpful to get me to this point: Disconnect rear seat unlock
and so were a few other posts (thanks everybody) but now I'm stuck here. I would appreciate the help.
