I've had a few complaints about the passenger seat being too low for good visibility. It can't be raised like the driver's seat - has anyone modified the seat mounts to raise it, or is that even possible?

I guess if one really wanted to they can order a driver seat from Japan and replace the passenger seat with it.

No, it is extremely important for a dominating wife, when she is a passenger.

An in expensive way to raise the seat. I had a custom made cushion made up for a previous vehicle (06 Ridgleline), 4" thick with high density foam. It now gets used in the CT in either P or D side.
