I am strongly considering the CT to replace a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder LE. I have questions-probably stupid, but I can't get a dealer to answer so I thought I would find someone here that would...
When I lock my Pathfinder with my keyfob, the lights blink with no sound therefore I have to SEE the car to know I have locked the doors. Our Titan beeps/honks. Does the CT beep or lights blink when locked using the keyfob? I forgot to check this when we testdrove... It's just one of those "things" that I can check off my list for the CT.
Another question that I had answered by a saleman but wanted to confirm here was about the parking sensors. Are the parking sensors included as a factory option as something that I order or does it have to be dealership installed. When we testdrove, there was some difficulty seeing out the rear of the car. We have twins so there will never be a time when the rear seats will be lowered for better vision. The salesman said he could take the CT down to our local stereo shop and have them installed . I wasn't so thrilled to hear that so I wanted to check to see if this was protocol.
Once I get these questions answered, I may only have to decide which EXL color exterior (polished metal, white or black with the black interior) will be the best for us.... :)
Thanks.

If I press the lock button once, the lights blink, no sound. If I press the key twice, lights and the horn beeps once.
I am suprised that they have to take the car down to a independant shop for that item since it involves removing the rear fender and drilling holes.

Remote start

Don't buy Honda factory remote, for you have to stop car before you can unlock it...means you have to remote start twice every time you use it and equals wear and tear in my opinion. Besides it’s a huge fob. However, remote start is the best idea since sliced bread! Just not factory…go with aftermarket.
