Here is the best picture I could take considering the diminishing daylight here.

It is from the back seat looking back towards the rear hatch.

The screen is divided in the middle. The furthest most rear part is attached to the hatch, and the half towards the front is "hinged" and swings up with the hatch.

Both can be easily removed if big items are being transported.

I thought they all came standard. I jsut reinstalled ours the other night after picking up a tv that I didn't think would ever fit in it. I believe it was a 42", and it slid right in, without laying it on it's side.

I really thought all CTs brought that standard. Can be handy when going to multiple parking lots during christmas shopping lol...

You should ask the dealership if it can be done with ease because there are certain things that have to be accounted for... There are slots and grooves in the rear panels of the EX-L for the privacy cover that might not be in the EX. If they say no, you can save a bunch of money and buy an aftermarket one...

everything in place - slots and grooves and even little pins on the hatch. Only this cover needed.
I'm very surprised why they do not offer in the accessories.

Talking about it - I do not understand why there is such a difference. We have Fit and they offer almost everything you can imagine for Base model: leather wrap for steering wheel (fits so perfect you can't tell it is not factory installed), cargo cover for hatch, inserts for dashboard, leather shift knobs etc. Because they make Fits in Japan and it is global model?

It may because it attracts a younger crowd and those cars are bought to be modified. I have 2 friends with the older model Fit and one with the newer Fit. They look nothing like the day they bought them. Changed the head lights, tails, spoiler, exhaust, rims, body kit ,etc... They make fun and say I can't do anything but drive my car but my car looks hot right off the bat lol... I got a few mods in mind but nothing too crazy...

Wow. Interesting. I had assumed that the cover comes on all of the Crosstours. I like that I have it and it works well for keeping the contents of the "trunk" out of sight, out of mind. I also like that I can remove both pieces and open the cargo area up for bigger items, like my two fat dogs.

I've got the 1/2 of mine that fits nearer the back seat permanently removed I've just left the rear half on as I carry a lot of items that would stick up higher. Even the back part is sometimes lifted a bit but there are a couple of fasteners that can be released so that it will rise up a few inches when there's a larger object there....It also will hide what's near the rear completely and matches nicely with the cargo hatch on the floor if it's open wide (and held by it's string-thing with the side eyelet)....Also the window tinting is pretty dark and you can't see in very well, so items are fairly well hidden from view.

You are so right on this one. My husband registered on Fit freaks forum and there is so much activity on everything, with members from around the world .. Crostourers have nothing to talk about compare to them..

I have made a few friends that are young like me with CTs but no one has done anything past HIDs and music. The car is so unique in itself that no one is in any kind of rush to go crazy lol. Around here I have seen one fully hooked up CT and I asked him a million questions lol... He had a custom roof spoiler which looked sick, the under body spoiler kit painted WDP like the rest of the car, 22 in rims with WDP accents, purple HIDs (not a fan but to each their own lol). The music was much louder and clearer than our coupe which is saying a lot (coupe is pumping out 2500 watts) lol. Car looked sick!!! I am waiting for the spring to really do some stuff to it.

I just got a 42 inch yesterday and was quite pleased that it slid right in. The Costco guy was impressed with the seat down latches. Way easier putting down the back seats than it was in the Accord. Would have been much harder to get it in the Accord. Just reminds me why I fell in love with the CT more than my Accord.
