New owner here, I was wondering how you guys felt about the transmission. I'm noticing that you can really feel the shifts in the first 3 gears through the peddle. Is anyone experiencing the same? I'm coming from an Aura sedan which was pretty smooth but much smaller so I was wondering is the size and the fact that its a crossover has an impact.

Personally I love the CT trans shifting. It's firm, crisp, and quite noticeable in the first 3 cogs as you say. The family sedan Acura trans would be intentionally softer and more seamless befitting a more luxurious brand.

One thing I miss about the tranny is a manual mode/paddle shifters to give the CT a more sporty feel. (I have it on my ISF, and even had it on my '06 Civic!)
I can live without it but Honda could have really made my day with this option the same as they did on the then next gen Honda Civic in '06

Enjoy your CT and welcome to Honda Crosstour Owners Club.

I Agree, it does shift hard. I got use to it now. I thinking it's from the weight of the car.

Yeah, the more I drive it the more I'm getting the feel for the shifts and I'm now starting to actually like the it more.

I think you have the solution. After a few months I don't notice it any more.

Welcome to the forum, BTW.
