I want to buy 4 new wheels for my CT to have summer tires on it. How does the pressure system work? Do I need any special wheels or can I buy whichever I want? If there is system of tire pressure built in current wheels , what I have to look for? I hope I make myself clear. Sorry for mistakes:)

Most wheels are ready to accept the sensors and most tires places have the tools necessary to handle them. Just be warned, you may have to swing by the dealer to get them reprogrammed.

Don't get any idea's... You got to remove the tire in order to access the TPMS.

You could pickup a spare set, probably around +/- $20 each.

Dealer may charge you up to 1 hour labor to "re-program" them...

I don't have experience with the ones in the CT yet, but SOME vehicles re-program on their own... If they do that will save you some trouble...
