Kinda gives me a "woody". How long did it take you? Where did you get the kit?

Thanks.
Re: wood trim kit

Kit came from www.carid.com it takes like 5 days for them to cut it to order..and it comes on 4 sheets and then you just match it to your taste...mine took about an hour..some of the pieces where delicate and needed extra caution..but came out okay:)

Nice results, Vulcan. I like it.
Not clear on colour choice.. Did you choose the OEM from the chart?
Did you get the basic kit and use all the pieces or just a select few?

Can you post a pic of the doors too...

cheers,
C.
I'd like to take the plastic wood trim out of mine and add the full brushed aluminum kit. I feel that it would look better with the black interior. How would I go about getting the OEM trim off?

This is something that I have felt, since day one, that Honda should have done, at least in the EX-L's. I need to add it to ours too, but no time to bother with it right now lol
Guys,

I just ordered two of these kits from Car-ID. I ordered one in OEM wood to add on to what is already there, and one in silver aluminum to add some accents that will match the existing silver trim in our Crosstours. My hope is that it will brighten that black interior up a bit.

Once I get it, and get it all installed, I'll post some pics. Stay tuned....

Sounds like a plan, Fred. Can't wait to see that.

The kits arrived today. Give me a couple of weekends, and we'll see how it turns out. *fingers crossed*

That should be nice, Fred......can't wait to see it.
Did you get the full kit?

Yes. I bought two complete kits so that I can mix and match to get a well integrated look. One kit is an OEM match for our existing wood trim and the other is aluminum to match our steering wheels and door handles. Maybe I won't screw it up. ;)

Ordered one myself this evening (OEM wood).......This product looks awesome.

When you say full kit ..is this the 71, 55, or 35.
When you say full kit ..is this the 71, 55, or 35. Fred, you did good job there!

I ordered two 71 pc sets. However, I just discovered that neither was shipped with the trim pieces for the radio/cd/climate pod in the center stack. I am very disappointed and waiting to hear back from Car Id.

I just learned that the complete 71 piece set from CarId does not include the trim for the center stack. You must order that separate. Also, in my case, CarId messed up and left off an entire sheet of trim for the OEM kit. So now I have to wait until they can fix that mistake as well as for the center stack trim to arrive.

I'm not happy. I had a small window of time to do this upgrade. Now, I'm not sure when I'll have the time again.

Well is that a 'kick in the pants' or what...I would have bought yesterday but wanted to see your completion + my wife is out of town and I wanted her to see diagrams. It says optional on .pdf but I saw it as which one do you want/need not extra cost. That’s the focal point to me and then build around it IMHO. Looks like 55 piece comes with center and explains why it cost more than 71? I must be stupid, but I would figure on 71 more cost than lesser pieces. FeeBay has some but I am not sure about color matching what I have existing or maybe it will cover and start new. Keep us posted on what’s up please.

Here are pics of the kits themselves. I can't install any of the peices until we settle up on what is missing. However, as you can see in the pics, a whole sheet of trim is missing from the wood kit.

And yes, it is kinda crappy that the center stack trim isn't included in their "complete 71 piece set." Turds and Tarnations....
