Hey guys what's up. My name is Pedro and I live in New York. Two weeks ago I traded in my 08 Nighthawk Black Pearl Accord Sedan EX-L V6 for a 10 Crosstour and I'm in love with the car. In a sea of sedans, the Crosstour really stands out and its aggressive styling is what drew me to it. When I first saw the pics I had no idea what Honda was thinking when they made this car until I saw one in person and the rest was history lol. I'm 23 years old and my first car was a 94' burgundy honda accord coupe with a 5- speed manual transmission which I bought from my neighbor crashed for a 1000 bucks. If my brother had not totaled it I would probably still have that car today lol. I've owned an 08 accord sedan and now a CT. I am always drawn to Accords and I'm always interested to see how people mod their cars.

Sorry for jumping the gun and posting elsewhere before introducing myself lol.

If you wanna see some pics of my car they're up on cardomain. You can click on the link on my signature to go straight there. I wanna put up some night shots of my HIDs and led interior lights but I'm waiting for my 5050 SMD LED reverse lights lol.

Welcome Pedro, and congrats on the new Black CrossTour. She's a beauty.
Many of us have come from, or still have, an Accord which are very good cars too, and think that the CT is even better.
Tho mods are few to now, they are out there and becoming more plentiful.

Glad to see some younger owners whom see the beauty and utility of the CT.

Looking forward to your input and seeing your mods as they happen.
The lighting looks great. I also have some HID's in the front and love them.
The quartz's just weren't cuttin' it for me.

Cheers,
Colin

Welcome Pedro. Plenty of good ideas from these folks on mods, etc. Checked out your pics, and took notice of the pin striping on another post. Looks good.

Welcome to the forum Pedro! I have the exact car you do...my first black car. A major PITA to keep clean but looks so good when it is! You'll find the folks here extremely friendly and helpful. Keep us posted on your experiences and mods to the CT.

regards,
Joel

Thanks for the welcome guys. If you guys ever have a question don't hesitate to ask, I know I wont lol. People in sedans have been following me to stop lights asking me when did Honda start making this car and that they might look into getting one. My neighbor actually wants to buy one in Opal Sage or something like that lol. I will be posting as I make changes because I like hearing input from other sources.

Thanks man. I know keeping a black looking fresh is no easy task. But every Saturday I gotta wake up extra early and wash it. The trick I use to keep the shine is use a very good detail spray after every wash and wax it every 2 or 3 weeks with the 3 step mother's kit from pep boys. My 08 sedan looked brand new the day I traded it in lol.

Thank you. I am about to post some pics of the pin stripe in much better detail on my car domain along with some pics of my lighting mods to date. I will be adding a second page so no one has to scroll all the way down to the bottom lol. I use car domain for pics because I don't have to worry resizing the image or changing it to jpeg.

They did the job but they are no where near as bright as HIDs. I'm actually shocked Honda didn't even make HIDs an option for the CT. Projectors and HIDs go together like bread and cheese idk what they were thinking.

Only had to wash it once...but I've been using the California Duster and quick detail/wiping down just about every night! LOL!

Quick Detailer and a Cali brush sure saves a lot of time. They're what I use mostly unless the car is very dirty.

Where can I get a Cali brush from? I bought a pretty crappy duster a couple of years ago and was turned away from them. Suggestions for a good one would be appreciated lol

Bought mine at WalMart for about $13...the original Cali Duster. I suspect they're all over Ebay too? Works great except for the occasional wax streak. No problem since the next step is usually a quick detail wipedown.
