One of the primary reasons I bought the CT was to be able to haul music gear to the odd coffee-shop gig or live DJ set at a local club. I was pretty specific about space and measurement, to ensure that I'd have enough room to securely store everything I'd be hauling around. One of the complaints I read about the CT in reviews was the "pinch" of space right between the seats where the struts encroach a bit. I actually found it to be a good fit for what I wanted to do (actually, it fit within about an inch to each side, as you can see in the photo) and also seat my guitar gig-bag very nicely, thank you very much.

:)

It's just a quick snap to show that the CT has plenty of storage for what I want and need to do. And the under-panel storage allow me to keep all of the car-related materials handy without cluttering things up. The more I get into it, the more I'm impressed the engineering and design of the CT - the opposite of buyer's remorse, if you will.

Nice... It's one of my factors buying a car...

I play Upright Bass and electric bass... I could squeeze my Electric Bass stuff in a car, but the upright needs a bit more room!

I used to DJ, havent touched a record for 5 years now. I miss it, but would have to pay me a lot to fly around on weekends again...

Good luck with the gig's, let us know where your playing :D

and If you need an experienced bass player ;)

I play guitar... no problem getting my amp and axe in there. I was more interested in fitting my 29er mountain bikes. They fit quite well; only thing I have to do is lower the seat a little to get it to clear the low roof line.

:D Will do. I'm trying to resist the temptation of finding a good set of general use PA/Amp gear for gigging that will fit in the trunk. I'm a long way from being road-ready in the playing department but am going to the NAMM show tomorrow. No telling WHAT I'll find to drool over there...

I went and uprgaded a grill that my parents got me for christmas, I didn't feel like driving the truck, so I went to load the original one in the CT, fit like a glove. I went to Lowe's swapped it out, bought the bigger grill, and noticed the box was considerably bigger. I got a little worried, but it slid right in, I did have to fold down the back seats so it would clear the hatch, but it fit, I was amazed, and I think the people at lowe's were too lol.
