Here are some pics of my LED "conversion" so far. I get the bulb sizes from the sylvania website (link below) and if you don't see the bulb under the Crosstour you can just look under the sedan. After I get the bulb type I do a ebay search for LEDs. I don't choose a specific brand because all the "big brands" are way over priced and light up the same way. The more lights the brighter and for me the brighter the better lol.

Here are the reverse lights. I got them on eBay for 15 bucks including shipping. Each bulb has 24 5050 SMD LEDs, and 5050 LEDs are supposed to be the brightest available, each individual LED is supposed to emit 20 lumens of light. Unfortunately I dont have any pics of the old reverse lights maybe someone can post some to compare.

Lol thanks... I can even go brighter cause there's more space than i thought, I went with 24 LEDs but you can go with double that amount for extreme lighting lol... I have even seen up to 68 LEDs on one bulb but I don't think those will fit.

Here's the link to the exact ones I purchased if you want more power you can just search for 7440 5050 SMD LED and I'm sure you'll find brighter ones.

Nice, I like it. Did you have any problem installing the LEDs? Has there been any other issues?
No issues installing them at all. It's easy to do, cheap, and the results are dramatic lol. The only thing you must keep in mind that the LEDs have a positive and negative end, so if they don't turn on at first try just turn it around and they will work fine.

Thanks a lot Fred. I saw the pics of your CT and the chrome pillars look great! If I didn't have a thing for black cars I would've definitely gone with the white CT as well!

Just ordered a couple of the backup/brakelight led's.
Price was reasonable and trans was simple.
TNX Pedro.
Will investivgate and upgrade other bulbs soon.

Lol no problem! Glad to help out! You should look into the interior it's very affordable and it looks awesome. I know that Diode Dynamics has an LED kit for the Accord that would fit the CT and it even has the glovebox light lol. I bought the pieces separately and they came in at different times but if you buy a kit that problem's solved lol

Hey C,

Did you get your reverse lights yet?
Not yet Pedro.....I've not heard from jaydencar08 since ordering but I did get a confirmation email so they must be in transit.
BTW, did you access thru the trunk behind the panelling for those lights or did you have to take the tail light housings out?
Should be here within days.

I wish you could go thru the paneling but I had to pop the tail lights out the way the manual states. You take out those two screw covers on the tail light and pull them out. It took me a second to realize that I had to pull the tail light towards me for it to pop out lol... There are two plastic pieces that have to dislodge before the entire tail light comes off. After you pop it the process is a lot easier lol...

I suggest you either have a friend put the car in reverse or put the e-brake on and leave the car in reverse to see if the light comes on. If it doesn't that means the poles are reversed and you gotta flip the bulb.

Ahhh, got it Pedro. I'll have another look at the manual too. Now that you mention it I do remember the section on replacing those bulbs.

I'll have my 'better half' check the function after install to make sure they're on.

Did you get any communication from Jaydencar08 for tracking or shipping sched. after ordering, or did they just show up one day?

Cheers, P

I got an email saying thanks payment, that same day I got an email saying they were shipped, and 3 days later I got them in the mail. Maybe because you live Canada it is taking a little longer but I'm not sure.

Those are good starter kits but I went for SMD LEDs which are 4 times brighter. I actually bought that kit in white for my 08 accord sedan. It all depends on how bright you want it and how much you're willing to spend. I spent a total of 80 bucks.
