I had a problem a couple years ago with my radio not working. It turns out that the drains for the sun/moonroof were clogged causing the water to overflow onto the radio receiver (which is located in the trunk... who'd of thunk?). I would get the moonroof drain lines checked.
Second thought, I'm confusing this situation with what happened to my husband's car (clogged sunroof drains). But you're right, it was where the washer fluid hose hole is. My dealership sealed the hose area with silicone so that it wouldn't leak anymore.
