Ipod touch doesn't work

I have a 2nd gen ipod touch, it will not recognize that my ipod has music loaded. Ipod shows up on the display but no music is found any ideas?

Did you try taking it to the dealership to have a look?
Not yet but I will if it comes to that. I'm also going to try and find a phone # to Honda directly and I also want to try my kids ipods to see if there is just something weird with mine. I will report back my findings.

Have you updated the firmware on your ipod? It'll probably be the first thing they ask when you go to the dealer.
I tried other ipods and they work fine, mine has all the latest updates. There is obviously something going on with it though. I'm experimenting with a few things I noticed that were different with my itunes vs. other family members. Will try again in morn to see if it works.

I'd recommend just buying an inexpensive memory stick and transferring your music to it rather than leaving your valuable ipod in the car (and it takes up less room in the armrest compartment)
It is now working, Yippee!
