I installed a factory hood deflector over the weekend, mostly to protect the hood's leading edge from stones, sand, etc.

I'm not really thrilled with it - with the look of it. I think it's a little too big for the need. I'll probably just leave it on until some "duckhead" decides to try to break it off in a parking lot, or something equally stupid and unpleasant.

Deflector

Hi Kemosabe, We purchased a factory deflector and it was easily installed by my husband. My car is black so it is not so visible, I am pretty sure I wouldn't be happy with the look on a light colored car.

We just made an 1100 mile trip to FL ( we are still here ) the car is a fabulous ride. We made the trip in a day, something we have never done before. I am sure it was the car...we weren't exhausted the next day as we usually are. The bug deflector kept all but two bugs from the windshield.

I have had sports cars, a beautiful Continental (which I loved) and a Mercedes prior to the CT. The CT wins hands down...I love this car!
