Where did you get them and what temp bulbs are you running? They look good

I plan to add some to the low beams and fogs, but my supplier can't get them anymore. I put some in my mustang, 6K's in the lows and fogs, and I love them. I got the white light, I didn't want any blue in my lights.

6000K (55watt digital kit $249.99) and yes a slight hint of blue. The 4300K are white to OEM specs. I selected a Canadian seller because of shipping reasons, I live in a small town rural area and shipping from the USA via UPS or Fed X I get caught with seller shipping fees plus UPS or Fed X fees and then they tack on Brokerage fees US & CDN Customs. The seller was very good at giving me replies to my numerous e-mail questions.

No install instructions came with the kit and was told by the seller that it was an easy install. So I opted to have a Honda dealer to do my install I didn't mind the extra bucks to have a Honda tech that has does several HID installs on other Hondas. Here is a link to a Richmond BC HID seller that has lots of good HID info and download info on install.

HID's are very easy to install, the hard part is hiding what you've done. I am very picky about anything that I add and hiding the stuff that shouldn't be seen. I literally pulled the front end off of my mustang for the sake of hiding the wires and relays from the HID kits I installed lol

FYI the Honda tech that installed my HID kit didn't remove the front end of the vehicle. All components are hidden with no visible sign of a HID kit. I am more than pleased with the job they did.

When I received my HID kit I took a good look under the hood then refered to my OM under light bulb replacement (Pages 334-352.) I assumed this would just be the starting point to install the kit. My re action was OMG thanks but no thanks, I want some one with more expertise than I.

I do know that the vehicle was part way up on the hoist I assume for a more comfortable work postion. And the tech did a fair amount of cursing. So RQ6 you have more guts than I if you tackle the job and your feedback will be a very interesting forum topic.

If I end up doing it, which is VERY likely, I'll post an article with pictures. I've installed quite a few, but mainly on Ford products, since that's usually what I play with. I used to customize cars for a living, so I'm pretty comfortable attacking, not something I'd recommend to a novice though. I may have to wait until a while after the baby comes though, he's due in the next 2 weeks.

I don't see why an "L" model wouldn;t have them from the factory anyway, seems like a strange option to leave out considering how many cars have them now.

hey ppl wats up.... i have the crosstour just like yours and plan on getting the 6000k light bulbs for the fogs and headlights. Can you confirm that I need the H11 blub kits for both the fog and head lights? If this is the case will I need the Standard kit, the slim kit or the 55W kit like you have? Are the sizes for the fog and head lights in regards to the standard/slim/55w going to be the same or different? thanks for your help...ed

HID Lights

The OEM Crosstour Head light Bulbs are the Halogen type as follows.
High beam 60W (HB3) this includes the DRL's
Low beam 55W (H11)
Fog lights 55W (H11)
These and all other bulbs for the Crosstour are listed under specifications in your OM. Initially I wanted to convert both my low beam and fog lights to HID. But I was told by the vender to convert both would require two kits so I went only for the low beams. And I don't know if any vendors have a single kit that would convert both. I am no expert on HID light kits and had to trust the vendor via e-mail contact for their advise on all the tech questions. Hope this helps, I have not written a review on the kit that I bought on the vendor's web site as yet, Just want to give it a longer time frame to be more positive.

update: it is IMPOSSIBLE to install HID conversion kit w/o taking off front bumper!

I tried and gave up. Either I need a friend to help me or I am going to ask some shops to install for me.

Yes H11 is the kit you need.
I've ordered mine thru Stealth Auto in Cali -- who has them on sale right now with free shipping. $97 USD , free shipping, brokerage + taxes don't know.
Price is good tho and also got the 6000k bulbs.

Not sure about access to the bulbs yet but apparently just plug and play and hide the ballasts and wires.

Edit: I see from the OM that access is gained under hood behind the overflow tank for the passenger side and behind the wheel well cover on the D's side. Shouldn't be too bad to change.
