The gas door will remain unlocked for a certain amount of time (10min?) after the vehicle is initially locked, to allow one to fuel up after locking the doors at a gas station. (So don't be confused when the gas door doesn't lock immediately.)So, that noise I hear when I lock/unlock the CT using the fob is also locking/unlocking the gas door?
What everyone has mention is correct on how to open the gas tank door. But funny, or is this a problem? I can unlock my doors and the gas tank pops open. Is that a problem? I had Honda to work on my tank door because I thought it was protruding out too much. Not flush with the car body. They fixed it but I think due to me going to the Power Car wash, it causes the gas tank door to protrude... does anyone think this as well? But yes, I can unlock my door, and sometimes the gas door pops open as wellWith the car doors unlocked push in on the fuel door and release to open.
