It's all tied in with the misfitting tail lights and the loose spoiler. My CT has none of those issues. Therefore I know it is not a flaw in the model. It is simply a problem that needs to be fixed.

Work with your dealer to make it right. Ask him specifically to tighten/adjust the spoiler and to check the alignment of the hatch itself. Compare the seams to other CT's on the lot. Find one that has narrow seams and a tight spoiler. Tell the dealer to make yours like that one.

Thanks for the advise, I went to the dealer earlier this afternoon and the manager came out. He said that he hadnt seen anything like this before; the spoiler, tail lights, and now the drippage. That he was going to contact the dealer rep and work out a solution. I hope that they do the right thing...

That is plain weird.... I bet there is something stuck in the drain. Since you live in an area that has lots of trees and it’s fall, I would say it might be a leaf stuck someplace. But, then again I might be a total idiot.

No leafs there, 2 of the 3 removeable trunk sections were so soaked that when i lifted them out, water was pouring off of them. I just dont get it.
WOW, it sounds like fit/finish and possibly weatherproofing is an issue with the whole rear section and that it needs a few days in the shop to completely button it up.
ONce that's done, the dealer will need to replace interior pieces, carpeting and electronics/wiring due to water damage all that after completely drying everything..

If it were me, I'd really push for a loaner now and have them keep yours until it's fixed.

Just got a call from the dealer, they found the leak. Its at the top of the hatch opening, there is a "seal" that they are replacing.
Next waiting on the paint issues on the spoiler and the tail lights. All this makes me think there might have been repair done to the rear of the CT.
