Tell us more. How is it failing? From external - like being hit from something? Internal corrosion? Leaking from the plastic or hose connections?
Things (off the top of my head) that can cause a radiator to fail.
Bad radiator cap - causing too much pressure in the radiator
Bad motor mounts - engine twisting causing undue pressure on the radiator
Bad radiator mounts - causing poor support of radiator
Incorrect coolant in radiator or additives
Once you tell us how why you are replacing the radiator, we might be able to help more.
I agree with Crashmaster, but would put emphasis on the coolant. If someone put the US type AF in your Honda, all of the Silica would come out of suspension. It would clog many small passages. I have seen Toyotas with the radiator completely blocked. I am not sure what would be required to clean it out but would suspect an "Acid Wash" might work. Although there may be nothing short of tearing it completely down, cooking the block, heads et al. Then rebuild it.
Best of Luck,
FSG
