Just joined the site and wanted to say hello to eveyone. I love the Crosstour. The only mods I have done is I modified the front Honda logo,Rims, Tires, Debadged the rear and added a matching dash kit. Oh yea, I also added two chrome strips below the front grill to make it match with the top portion. Talk to you guys and gals later and looking forward to seeing some good mods!

Welcome, Lapdog and congrats on the new CrossTour. Hope you like it as much as we're liking ours.
I've done a few mods so far (Intake, Garmin, HID's) and am interested in yours if you could post pics for us to see.
Cheers, and enjoy the new ride

Hey lapdog...congratulations on the Crosstour! Had mine for a couple of weeks and really enjoying it. Would love to see some pics of what you've done.
Lapdog, good luck with the CT Great car. Ditto, would like to see some pics of your mods.

What part of Florida? I lived in Broward County, Coral Springs for a long while.
Welcome Lapdog... sounds like your mods really dressed your CT up. Please post some photos.

Garmin installs

Another new CT owner - 4 days old and loving it. Came from 2005 Outback and test drove Outback, Edge, Venza. Choice was easy! Interested in hearing about installations of Garmins that provide power but hide the cord.

TIA,

Welcome ruppridn, and congrats on the new car.

My Garmin 1490T has internal power so can be battery operated for about 2 hours I believe.
Here's a couple of quick pics of my Garmin installed with cord which is very inconspicuous... the cord actually blends with the dash quite nicely and tucks in rather well too.
I suppose the power supply could be built in but didn't consider it worth the effort.

If you decide to go with the 1490T Costco has them on sale right now for an excellent price.

Garmin 1490T (It's a touch screen so don't mind the fingerprints:eek:)

and of the same view with screen on (much glare but sits nicely on right side of the OEM display)

Yes I was concerned about that too but it stuck very well.
I did use some alcohol to super clean the sticking area well before apply tho.
