Another new CT owner - 4 days old and loving it. Came from 2005 Outback and test drove Outback, Edge, Venza. Choice was easy! Interested in hearing about installations of Garmins that provide power but hide the cord.TIA,
Welcome ruppridn, and congrats on the new car.
My Garmin 1490T has internal power so can be battery operated for about 2 hours I believe.
Here's a couple of quick pics of my Garmin installed with cord which is very inconspicuous... the cord actually blends with the dash quite nicely and tucks in rather well too.
I suppose the power supply could be built in but didn't consider it worth the effort.
If you decide to go with the 1490T Costco has them on sale right now for an excellent price.
Garmin 1490T (It's a touch screen so don't mind the fingerprints

)
and of the same view with screen on (much glare but sits nicely on right side of the OEM display)
