Last weekend, I loaded my drums into my CT for a gig, and when I was unloading, I noticed a small ding in that shiny metal piece that runs along the back edge of the cargo area. What the heck is that piece for, decoration? I can't believe Honda would use such a flimsy piece of metal that dents so easily. (I did not slam anything down onto it.) I was thinking of putting a blanket or piece of rubber over it, but that shouldn't be necessary. Anyone else have this problem?

I've NEVER met a drummer whose lower trim piece in their vehicle wasn't chewed up from taking drums in and out. No it's not designed for any real abuse, and really no car is, usually they're just plain plastic that gets all scratched and chewed up.

I'm honestly more suprised that a set can fit in a CT
Are you kidding? There's more room in my CT than there was in my Saturn VUE! I even have some floor real estate left over for more bangy things! That was my main criterion when I was car shopping. My drums had to fit. I even took them (well, their cases) with me to the dealers and tried loading them in before I'd take a car on a test drive. I was skeptical about their fitting, based on the advertised cubic footage, and I had a big smile on my face when I saw how easily they fit. There's less height in the CT, but more length, which works for me just fine.

I agree with the flimsy plate, gonna get banged up sooner or later. But, real neat that the drums fit, and the bangy things too.

And not to disappoint, can you tap out a rhythm to 'Roll out the barrel' for Limery, lol.

I've been consistently suprised at how much fits in ours, especially now that the holidays are getting the car loaded more and more with gifts and all the stuff that has to go along with the baby.

The other day I was talking about how much room it had, and just so happened to have all kinds of oddball stuff from running errands. We had some legal files (nonsensitive info) in the front passenger seat, some of my guns and a ton of ammo on the backseat, next to the baby seat base of course, and a set of cylinder heads and some other parts for a drag race engine I'm building for a friend of mine, and still had TONS of room to pile on a lot more stuff.

The only thing I haven't been able to fit in the CT has been my Skeet trap, and it barely fits in the bed of my truck, and towers over the cab.

The only thing that's ever been in the back of our Bean is my computer bag, an overnight bag and an umbrella. It looked pretty lonley in that huge space...

OK...shot taken and noted....but I've got to point out that I'm not your stereotypical accordion player....I purposefully DO NOT play that tune (although I "could" if I had to)...
