The tires should be the same outside diameter, regardless of the wheel, so the revolutions per mile shouldn;t be a factor.

The 18" is 727revs per mile, the 17" Bridgestone is 731, that's barely a measurable difference.

I prefer the 18's because it's a little bit less sidewall flex, and for me, that means greater control.

The other side of the coin is, the 18's design really compliments the car.

It's .55% So in 50,000 miles your 18" tires will have 2750 fewer miles? That's not really anything that would make me change my mind on what wheels I went with.

The car is calibrated to the tires, regardless of the wheels, so it's not like your mileage will be off or anything. Also when the tires are replaced, if you go with a different brand or model, your revs will be different as well, even with the same size tire, because not all of them sit the same.

Thank you fellows for the replies and some really good stuff there and thanks for the comparison link that really helped. After viewing the differences and what you get extra for the $$$ it seems almost crazy not to go with the EX-L especially if you are a Technical person which I am. The communication featues of the EX-L along with the leather and other various differences are pretty good. Not sure I need the navigation as some reports of that have not been that good which brings me to anothere question. If you op out of the navigation can you still have the phone and USB options at you're fingertips ?

We drove one w/o Nav for a few days until ours arrived, and I honestly can't remember if it had USB or not, but I looked on the site, and it seems all EX-l's have the USB regardless of the Nav option. I also believe you can ge the backup camera without navigation as well, it will display in the mirror.
