CT decisions

I currently own an 06 Ridgeline and have been very pleased with it. It is my first Honda and I'm thinking about changing into a Crosstour but not sure if it's a fit. I like the front and profile appearance of the CT but still cannot get used to the back. The interior package is well done. The blue backlit gauges are attractive.
I've been to several Honda dealers and all add the "ADP" addendum sticker to the MSRP sticker. Stuff like "paint sealant" $599.00, dealer prep., $499.00. Has anyone else seen this annoyance at other Honda dealers? I would like to think Honda does not condone this practice.
I have yet to see a CT on the road. Is it because the dealers are not negotiating and therefore not selling. Kinda reminds me of when the Ridgeline first came out. Took a while for em to catch on.
Any thoughts??

My dealer didnt add any of those things, and was very willing to deal...I am a weekend drummer and the CT carries all my gear with ease, and I have been getting 25 to 27 mpg highway so I have been very pleased with mine..had mine since Jan 28th..just in time for 2 of the worst snow storms to hit Northern Virginia ever, never got had any problems. As for not seeing any...I prefer that, better to have one of the few then to see one every 5 cars. just my thoughts Good luck with your choice!!

What a detestable practice. Jerome 'Jerry' Lundegaard in Fargo still working his shtick.

Honda is offering excellent financing incentives on the Crosstour, so I can't believe that they are flying off the lots to the extent that dealers can force this crap down the buyer's throat.

Wondering where you are located? The DC area has one Honda dealer infamous for pulling this stuff, but there are many alternatives.

Suggest you look further or push back.

Best of luck, and let us know what turns up,

Brad

You are getting 27 MPG in the worst snowstorms ever to hit Virginia??
What kind of gas are you using? I need to switch...I can't get near that on clear highways......
Seriously, what kind of mileage do you get in the snow?
Re: CT

I just traded my 06 Ridgeline a couple of days ago...the Crosstour is SOOO much nicer to drive...and while I haven't had a fill-up yet, I am sure the mileage will be better too...I loved the Ridge, but the mileage was killing me, and the smoothness and execution of the CT is just awesome...dealer gave me just below invoice price, so you might just need to be more forceful about not paying for the crap you don't want on your new car...
