I tend to buy a few things for the cars/trucks online, but I prefer to stick with local businesses, even if it cost a little more. This way if something is wrong or damaged, it's easy to take care of, no shipping charges and all that stuff, and usually the customer service is much better when dealing locally.

I actually find buying on line pretty good. Most of the time it is less expensive and if you go to reputable sites you should have no problem with quality. As far as shipping most of the time I can get free shipping or even the price with shipping is still cheaper than going to a local Honda dealer or even a local store. The key to getting a good deal is you got to do your homework first and check out the web based store. Bizrate.com is a good source to find out if a company is any good. Buying on line can be as safe as going to a store, rule of thumb if it seems too good to be true then it is.
