I just grab under the front handle (where the lip is) and pull forward.I think the reason why most people don't know about it is because it's do damn hard to push forward! But I agree, I keep it extended all the time.
Yeah, I know, and have known about it before I even got my car, but compared to other sliding armrests, this one is a super-tight, plastic-on-plastic sliding armrest...so it's going to be tougher for people who are used to other armrests slide out easy, to think that this one slides when you have to put so much effort into it.I just grab under the front handle (where the lip is) and pull forward.
Interesting because I feel the exact opposite about it.Yeah, I know, and have known about it before I even got my car, but compared to other sliding armrests, this one is a super-tight, plastic-on-plastic sliding armrest...so it's going to be tougher for people who are used to other armrests slide out easy, to think that this one slides when you have to put so much effort into it.
I would not have found that out in a million years...ok maybe a thousand. Thanks for the tip!I never knew that the top slid forward. More comfortable on long trips!

Just grab the top portion part and move it. No funny tricks or buttons. How do I slide the door forward and backward? Is it described in the owners manual?
