Ok, I have noticed a bevy of holiday car commercials in which they are trying to entice you to buy a car as a present. Now how many can afford a new car as a present and if you can how many people have bought a car as a present around Christmas? I mean with all the other crap you have to buy who in the world has time to go buy a car.

Yes I've noticed them, CM......and even know of some people who have done it.

Personally I find it excessive and don't see it.
It's actually at the opposite end of the spectrum and what I'd like to get back to: basics and the true spirit of Christmas without all this money being spent.

Christmas is for children in that respect and (in most cases-) can be pleased without such excessive purchases.
