Our CT (known as the Bean) is white diamond pearl in color. At about any time of day, there are various bugs, moths, gnats, flies etc. moving around over its sparkling surface. The insects do not seem to be attracted to our gray car or our blue truck. But they love the white Bean.

I guess white attracts bugs?

lol its not the fact that its white cause I noticed that in my car as well... The only reason I can possibly think of is the wax I use or my detail spray...

They like gray too Fred. Seems the air flow likes to smack the lower front. Not bad on the winshield, noticed the same pattern on the Ridgeline. I've had vehicles where every bug, rock, booger, you name it , hit the winshield, never missed. Must be the air foil created.

I noticed the same right away. The white seems to attract flying bugs while the car sits outside. My other cars don't seem to attract the buggers when they are in the drive, but I wondered if the bugs were just more visible on a white car when they land and fly around? I use the same detailers and waxes on my other 3 cars, but the cars are darker colors.

I just can't imagine saying to the dealer. "Well, it draws bugs. Can you help me?" ;)

I think its more noticeable on a white car but my car is black and have the same "issue"... I use this carnuba wax and detail spray and especially when I use the detail spray I see bugs and bees (a lot of bees)... What kind of wax do you use on the Bean Fred?

Pedro,

I use Meguiar's gold class carnauba liquid wax when I go all out. I also use Meguiar's quick detail spray for easy clean ups.

I do not have a white CT but I do have a offwhite Ram pickup and the sme thing happens, siting in the driveway bugs die on the hood, (lots), I can wash them off, do not drive the truck and the next day they are on the hood again. I do believe it is something with the color. Have the CT no problem with that and a green Ford and also no problem.
