The Droid is not on Honda’s list of officially compatible phones. Heads up to this forum: it seems to work just fine! The link-up was quick and easy. The car will lead you through the process through its audio help. You need to get the phone into discover mode and then the phone will discover the car (not the car discover the phone). All the features I tested seemed to work. Only one wish list feature so far: an easy way to either share all or part of your contact list with the car or have the car search your phone’s contact list when you begin the call. Currently, you need to manually load the car’s calling list.

One final note – there were posts in other forums about Honda’s HFL being a little too aggressive and when the user was standing too close to an empty idle car and a call arrived, then the car would grab the call in Bluetooth mode. Not any more – fixed. I tried calling my cell phone from my house phone while standing next to the Crosstour (parked and off, Droid’s Bluetooth on and attached) and it behaved very nicely and let my cell phone answer the call (this test was without forcing the car to disconnect). Hooray!

If the Crosstour is turned off, then bluetooth in the Crosstour is not working. That's why the Crosstour didn't connect to your phone.

Ian - sorry if the 2nd paragraph was not clear. Previously, older Honda cars left the radio's bluetooth active even when the car was off (at least that is what I read in some Honda bluetooth posts). Then, if you happened to be standing near the vehicle with the phone's bluetooth still active and you received a call, the car's bluetooth would incorrectly grab the incoming call. The 2010 CT's behavior is to correctly ignore the call if the vehicle is off.

I probably should have left out the trivia part. My primary point was that the CT and Droid seem to work well and the setup was easy.
