I put 800 lbs in the back of the CT last friday. Amazing, other than the lower rearend I felt nothing. The guy at the feed store thought I was crazy but I thought what the heck might as well give it a shot.

Yep, the CT does seem to be able to handle ample loads without much ado... every spring ours gets loaded with mulch, dirt, sand, pavers,... etc.. etc.. as the wife has us working on one spring project or another! ;)

I was suprised at the power/torque it had with the load and how well the transmission shifted.

May I assume that you are V6?

Just looking at your load, my intuition tells me that I would not fare so handily with my I4.
You know I would say you should not have an issue. I only notice a very very small difference in power.

Nice pics Chef. Good to put some of those horses and torque to task once in a while.

Almost, but not quite, I have to pack a load when traveling with my 14 year old daughter. Two week trip = Diana Ross and the Supremeson a world tour luggage. Mom and I get one suitcase each, lol.

Road trips have plenty of power to carry all of us and the goodies.
