Good Morning.
Our 2010 CT has been decided yesterday by Honda Customer care for assistance.
As it took them over 2 weeks to make a decision on.

(re: cylinder 1 misfire):

"since that we are
second owners" and "not loyal ones" (we bought the car used July this year)
we do not qualify for any monetary help in this expired class action suite which Honda refuses to stand by now.

Shame on Honda!

Two thoughts: First, Honda must obviously draw a line somewhere on when to assist a customer or not. Each case is judged on its own merrit. Second, I would do my best to contact the seller or original owner. Perhaps they brought the vehicle in to some other Honda dealer for this problem while under warranty. If so, yours would be a continuation claim from what they did and Honda would then likely cover it since it started during the warranty period. Even if they brought it in for fouled spark plugs, that might be enough to get it covered. Try and find all the service records!! Doesn't hurt to try. Let us all know what you find out. Good luck.

All due diligence has been done and no roots have been found associated with this breakdown.
