hey everyone. i work for honda. got to drive a crosstour first, back in october of 2009, loved it from moment one. got one a few weeks ago, which was also about time. i'm not into mod-ing and all that, my car is for daily use but respect to all who take pride in their wheels.

i got a blk/blk 2wd ex-l with limo tint all around - got remote engine start and took off the crosstour badge from the back.... i may get some wheels at some point but that will pretty much be it i think.

i can't think of a better car on the road for the money.

I thought it was a great car too...until I took it on the highway and found out now, thAt I am going to have to live with almost constant vibration and a silly green light flashing at me.

I am a disappointed customer - one on his sixth and maybe last Honda.

Very glad to have you along, blkarrow, and equally glad you love and respect your new CT as we do.
Colin.

If you have vibration that is that noticable, you have a problem. Either a tire is unbalanced, a rotor is warped, a CV joint is sticking or something else is wrong in the suspension. You may even have an engine mount problem. The key thing is to go back to the dealer. Let them have a look at whats going on.

My dealer thinks that the ECO light can be turned off through programing. He's trying to get the code/proceedure from Honda.

Relax. Give yourself some time to get comfortable with the car. Honda will make it right.

We got the same car! Welcome to the forum and you are right... this car is great lol... I have not experienced a lot of the problems mentioned here like the vibration or the spoiler problems (was missing some paint in tail light area), but stuff like that is expected from an all new model... Plus you work for Honda so you'll have virtually nothing to worry about lol...
thnx for the warm welcome. crosstour sales in my region have been sluggish until last month, this month they are going fast! ... who knows why.

i had M3 BMW, Audi TT and Volvo S80 before...this is a different car, but quality wise and driving experience wise it's up there. i love sitting in my car at the end of the day and drive.
Welcome...good to hear sales are picking up...hate to think this model would be discontinued by the time I was ready for a trade in 4 or 5 years from now! Agree wholeheartedly on the transition from premium Euro brands to the CT...different car but the driving experience is right there!

regards,
Joel

welcome and good to know someone is more knowledgeable of our cars :)
Day three as new CT owner. The ride is so good coming from a truck especially. I bought it during the rain so the car was wet for most of the time I have owned it. Walked outside yesterday afternoon to go home and the sun was out and the car was dry. In all four exterior door handles the paint (clear coat) under the handles dozens of scratches on all four doors! Stopped by dealership and they said they had had this problem before on other models but had not seen it on the CT's. They checked there lot and they all had it. Its from a shipping practice where the loop some typr of a tie down strap through this area. Of they said they will make it right. Can't wait until I get some decent miles on it so I can open it up a bit.

Glad to see the spammer is gone! Thanks CCT!
Welcome blkarrow and I love my CT too. Most of us do love our cars but as often is the case on these forums, we hear only about problems. Just have to understand that people ask questions and talk about problems before they discuss what is liked.

Good luck and enjoy your new car!
