Well, this last week-end I finished my break in period as recommended with a total of 1100 kms and the more I used it the more I like it. This is a good car. This morning I went for a blood test appointment and when I was walking thru my CT I saw some strange drawing on the front bumper passenger side. Someone hit my car without leaving any business card. My blood pressure went up as you can imagine. I'm really *&?%*&?% frustrated.......Ok my blood pressure is down now...

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. If you're like me you usualy park away from other vehicles and avoid areas where you might get hit. But, there are plenty of a$$holes out there who have no respect for anothers property.

Hope the damage was slight and not a real hassle to fix.
You bet...I don't know how they hit me. What can I say, take a look at pictures.

I looked more closely and I found there is a screw that maintain the bumper inside the wheel area and the plastic around that screw is broken. So, I doubt they could repair the bumper without replacing the full cap. Speaking with my car insurance, they would use original pieces for replacement. Anyhow, I got an appointment tomorrow morning for damage estimation and how much time it will take to repair my CT.

Bumper cost $325.41 but need the paint job.

hopping the insurance take care everything.
Oh yeah...I got a full car insurance that covers "hit and run" without deductible. This is less pain for me but I hate to run into this stuff being time consuming, phone calls, etc.

Hoping that most people are more respectful than that...

BTW, how did you get the bumper pricing?

I'm sorry that happened to you, but at least you can get it fixed and no one was physically injured.

Agree with you. Nobody was physically injured. There was nobody in the car anyway. But it's frustrating specially when you take care of another property. I get my car license since 1978 and I did not get any car accident. This is my second reclaims since then. Both of them, I was not in the car and was "hit and run".:(

Totally agree with you CCT. This is an habit I always do. However, what you can do more? Hoping for the best all the time when I quit parking areas. I'm planning to buy many hazard signs that I will put around my car and reserve 6 car places around me. (Just kidding!!!)

I went to the body shop this morning for estimation and they will need to replace the front bumper and the grey plastic stuff surrounding the right fog light. After seeing the damage, the guys told me that the person who hit my car should have been feel something.
