Hi friends. I was involved in a fairly serious accident 2 weeks ago. I walked away from it with only some scrapes and bruises from the side airbag and the speaker housing. I don't know about the driver that hit me. I'd had my 2010 for 6 years and was devastated that "Ruby" was a total loss. Making things worse, the accident happened in Alabama on my way home to Pennsylvania. If I'd had time or the wherewithal, I would've taken the WeatherTech mats and especially the roof rack.

I look at these pics and can't believe I wasn't more seriously injured. A week without my Ruby and the thought of having to decide on a new car was almost too much for me. However, I lucked out when I found another 2010 at a local dealership with only 56k miles on it! I'm a lucky and happy girl!

Very sorry to hear about the accident. Honda/Acura has a very good reputation concerning safety and I think you proved it. Is the new car now Ruby Two.

Thank you. It was very scary. In my 30 years of driving, I've never even been in a fender bender.

As for the "new" 2010, her name is Minnie Pearl! I probably should stop naming my cars and getting so attached to them. 😉

I'm glad your OK. I totaled my 2012 because of an accident similar to yours, but slightly less severe.
No injury to me and I found a 2013 with 75K on it. The new CT is nicer all over and I consider it an upgrade.
