Hello from Northern Kentucky!
Hello. Iím new to these forums, but the Original Owner of a 2012 Crosstour EX-L w/nav.
Until recently, all maintenance and repair work has always been done by the dealer we bought from, on-time and as required. This has been a new experience for me, as Iíve always been a DIY kind of guy. Until the last year, itís been a really good experience.
This dealers online scheduling tool went from bad to basically unusable, and getting a service appointment scheduled is crazy. Takes upwards of 3 weeks to get in, and when I do, I feel like I need a shower when I leave, because of the sleazy feeling they generate. The next closest dealer is 30 miles away, so Iíd basically need to take a day off of work just to get the car serviced. Hard pass.
Going to start doing my own maintenance work on this one (as much as I can), and use it as a learning experience. Hope to find good technical info here, and share my experiences as I learn them.
