Default Bypassing 2nd electric fan

I have VCMuzzler installed (2010 EXL, FWD, 110K miles) and ECO hardly ever comes on. However, it will come on if shut the A/C is off, and I assume that is because only one fan is running when the A/C is off. I like to shut off the A/C when I don't feel I need it to save on MPG (or would like to think so), but I DO NOT want ECO coming on. Does anyone know how I can bypass the A/C fan to run all the time with the Main engine fan?

No big deal if it isn't possible. Thanks!

Which version of the VCMuzzler do you have? I would try two things.

1) To make sure the VCMuzzler is guilty, I would unplug it totally from the car and see if things go back to factory OEM. Sometimes we tend to blame other problems on the modification part. You might just have a bad thermostat, relay, fan or something else.
2) If the VCMuzzler is at fault, I would change the resistor in the VCMuzzler to a different one and see if that helps.

Hope this helps. At least that is what I would do if it were my car.
