Default VSA, BRAKE & ABS dash lights on

For a few weeks these 3 lights come on for no apparent reason: VSA, BRAKE, and the ABS logo. Sometimes they stay off, sometimes on. No noticeable difference in how the car runs (but haven't had to hit the brakes hard or slide in snow/ice).

Tried flushing the brake fluid (was dark) but lights didn't change. A friend has a professional Honda mechanic friend who read codes and my VSA Modulator Assembly has gone bad. It's $865 from cheapest online Honda parts place I can find (so far), and I'm trying to find a used one. The part number is 57111-TP7-A01 in case anyone else has this issue.

Will keep you all updated and I welcome suggestions for lowest-priced Honda parts!

Ok folks - I received no input on this one so I'm kinda thinking it's not a common problem.

The best price that I could get for the part brand new was around $865, so I went used.

I used car-part dot com to find a brake module for $75 shipped from car with 35,xxx miles (they had a couple, and I had a choice). The module is on the passenger side of the engine bay with 4 brake lines going out, and 2 going it. 3 mounting bolts for the bracket. It wasn't terribly difficult, but you'll need some extensions and swivel sockets to do the job, which only took an hour.

The used part did the job - I hope this helps save someone else some significant cash, because Lord knows that any Honda Stealership will charge $1,200 plus for the part and an hour or two of labor plus diagnostic charges.

To be fair, we did use a professional scanner to read where the faults were coming from, so we didn't just "guess" at what needed to be replaced.

I sure hope this helps someone out there!

Just found this forum, but I’ve owned my ‘12 Crosstour since it was new. Oh man, this makes me sick. I paid $1700 this past January to have the same thing replaced from the dealer. I was beyond PO’d, because I was told it had to be matched to the computer and wasn’t something I could do myself.
