TPMS Sensors??

Ok, my car is just about 3.5 years old and i am about to put new tires on it. Going to go with the Micheline Defenders, my question is it worth it to have Discount Tire put the TPMS rebuild kit on it? Or should I save the 40 bucks and just go with it as is and replace them when they actually quit working?

If the rebuild includes new batteries, yeah, I'd go for it, if it's just new stems, I'd leave well enough alone.

as far as i know the rebuild kit does not include batteries because the battery is intigral to the sensor

Considering that $40 puts you almost half way towards a new set of sensors, I'd keep them as-is.

I've never replaced mine on my last car and haven't had an issue.
